Our Hungary office in Budapest serves as a key hub for fostering partnerships and supporting our mission within the local Jewish community and beyond.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Budapest office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth administrative processes, supporting project management, and maintaining a productive and welcoming office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Administration:
    • Manage daily office operations, including correspondence, filing systems, and supply inventory.
    • Ensure the office is well-maintained, organized, and equipped for efficient functioning.
  • Financial Management:
    • Handle basic bookkeeping, budget tracking, and expense reporting.
    • Liaise with external accountants and ensure timely submission of financial documents.
  • Human Resources Support:
    • Assist with HR-related tasks, including onboarding new employees, managing contracts, and maintaining personnel records.
  • Event Coordination:
    • Organize meetings, events, and conferences, both in-person and virtual, including logistics, catering, and communication with participants.
  • Communication & Liaison:
    • Act as a key point of contact for local and international stakeholders, including donors, partners, and volunteers.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing communication, ensuring timely responses.
  • Project Support:
    • Provide administrative support to various projects and fundraising initiatives.
    • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and promotional materials.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in office management, administration, or a similar role (minimum 3 years).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hungarian and English (Hebrew is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office management tools.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and budget management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
